Playing in today's orchestra concert - - soaring melodies of the first vioins - - feeling like part of an ocean wave - - gliding, soaring higher and higher . . .
as we play, plunging down the crest of the wave - - thinking about how we have to feel the music together, how we use all our visual cues and aural cues to soar in unison, as we play in one shining unit to create a beautiful melody.
